‘Do the right thing’ is one of our core values at Healios, and building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels supported is absolutely the right thing to do. As part of that work, we have updated the diversity questions that are asked in your HiBob profile. If we can better understand who makes up Healios, we can better support employees to be able to bring their full and best selves to work.

What is ‘diversity data’?

‘Diversity data’ is social identity information, including protected characteristics data, that is collected about Healios employees.

Why is Healios collecting this information? Is it mandatory to complete?

Collecting diversity data is standard in many organisations, and having this data for employees helps us to have a deeper understanding of their lived experiences. In particular, diversity data will help us understand and improve our representativeness across the organisation, and respond to the diverse needs of our employees. Building a working environment that fosters diversity and inclusion for staff will also help us to better meet the diverse needs of our clients and their families.It isn’t mandatory to complete any of the diversity data questions, however as more employees provide this data, Healios will become better equipped in understanding our employees’ demographics.

Where is this data stored and who can see my diversity data?

The information you provide is kept strictly confidential and handled in accordance with UK GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). All reports of this data are presented in aggregate form to analyse and report on statistical trends. It will not be used in any way that allows individuals to be identified.

This data cannot be viewed by your manager, other members of your team or other employees.If you do not feel comfortable disclosing your information, all questions have a ‘Prefer not to say’ option. Please consider selecting this option rather than leaving the question blank.
